Two Ringwood Houses on One Street, Two Places to Start

An 1895 cottage and a brick veneer home can share a street here, and the work inside them begins in different places. The switchboard is the quickest tell. A board still carrying rewireable fuses runs the protection its first electrician chose, and that choice predates everything you’ve plugged in since. Plenty of Ringwood owners live at one address and trade at another, and both go on one call. Retail runs alongside the housing here, with the Eastland centre anchoring that end of the suburb. The electrician who works on the house works on the shop.

What separates the two is the cabling. A counter or a workstation wants power and a data point together, fixed into the building rather than plugged into it.
